Event Description: Join us as Selby M. Doughty, Independent Scholar, presents a biographical/anecdotal slide lecture of how Norman Rockwell's illustrative paintings enjoyed a broad popular appeal in the United States for their depiction of American Life. This is the first of a two-part mini series on artists. Ms. Doughty will present the second and final lecture, "Andy Warhol" Fifteen Minutes of Fame", on October 22, 2104 at 12:00 P.M. These Lifetime Enrichment Programs take place at the Museum Passenger Station. They are open to the public. Refreshments are provided. Museum members and children under 13, free; Non-members, $4.00.
