Event Description: Harrisburg International Airport is inviting the public to come out and enjoy a day on the airfield, Saturday, August 22nd, 2015 from 9am-2pm rain or shine. A wide variety of aircraft will be on display, and visitors will be able to get up close and learn how each operates from pilots themselves and those that maintain them. Visitors can also get a close up look at airport equipment and learn its integral part in airport safety. In addition to the static displays, appearances by LifeLion helicopter, Hershey’s Kiss Mobile with Children’s Miracle Network and more are scheduled to appear. Parking is free and available across from the event in the flat lot on Terminal Drive. Refreshments will also be available for purchase. No pets please
