Event Description: When starting a business you want to make sure you select the correct business formation, an excellent accounting system, understanding of cash vs. accrual accounting, maintaining proper financial records, proper preparation and filing of tax returns and reports, budgeting, pricing, cash flow projections, understanding financial statements, etc. Speaker: John Steffee, CPA John Seffee has been a CPA since 1982. John currently is a shareholder with Pfister and Rompalo, PC in Wormleysburg, PA specializing in small business, tax and estate planning. In the past, John has worked in small and regional CPA firms as well as a controller for a small software company and as an accountant for two Fortune 500 companies. John taught Accounting, Tax and Finance at Susquehanna University for eight years. John is married, he has two daughters, three step-sons and four granddaughters.
