Welcome to the borough of Camp Hill. . . A lovely, historic town located in the west shore region of Cumberland County, home to approximately 7,630 residents. Camp Hill has an effective, progressive borough government, an excellent school district, cost-efficient public services and a host of recreational opportunities. Housing is varied in style and price, ranging from $80,000 to more than $1,000,000. Police, fire and emergency medical services are prompt and professional, as are healthcare services provided by nearby Holy Spirit Hospital. The Cleve J. Fredricksen Library has been voted “Simply the Best Library” by the Harrisburg Magazine reader’s poll.     Sustainable Camp Hill presents... "Reduce, Recycle, and Reenergize in 2024"! On February 27 at 6:00 p.m. the Borough will host speakers who will show residents how they can Go Green and save money! Presenters from Penn Waste will talk trash (and recycling!) and experts from Drexel University will share ways to save energy at home, along with information about cost savings and tax incentives. Join us for an hour of cool tips, Q&A, and refreshments! Event Speakers & Topics: - A Penn Waste representative will discuss recycling and waste reduction recommendations and answer questions about which items gets recycled and why. - Drexel University will provide a presentation focusing on energy saving measures for homeowners, such as heat pumps, electric appliances, solar panels, and electric vehicles. They will also provide financial information on how much these improvements cost, how much money energy efficient improvements can save people, and what tax rebates will be coming through the federal Inflation Reduction Act.  Plan to join us in Prosser Hall at the Borough office, 2145 Walnut Street for this FREE informative session + Q&A time!
