Operation Restore Hope (ORH) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping military veterans remain safe, independent, and dignified in their own homes. We serve veterans who are facing physical limitations, aging-related challenges, or financial hardship, but who do not require homeless services. We honor vets in Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry, and Northern York Counties.
ORH provides hands-on, practical assistance that directly improves quality of life. Our projects include wheelchair ramp construction, bathroom modifications, minor home repairs, landscaping, power washing, cleaning, and other essential maintenance tasks veterans are unable to complete on their own. These services often make a critical difference in a veteran’s ability to safely remain at home.
Our work is powered by community partnerships and volunteers, including local businesses and skilled tradespeople who donate time, talent, and resources. Through this collaborative approach, Operation Restore Hope delivers meaningful impact while honoring the service and sacrifices of our nation’s veterans.
