The Center for Independent Living of Central Pennsylvania (CILCP) is a 501(c)(3), consumer-controlled, cross-disability organization whose mission is to eliminate and prevent barriers that people with disabilities experience by providing ongoing advocacy and offering innovative programs and services. 51% of the staff and Board of Directors are people with disabilities. Services include: home care, deafblind, home modification, nursing home transition, advocacy, peer counseling, skills training, youth transition services, information and referral about community services and people with disabilities. CILCP also provides technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including assessments for compliance and training.
