The Carlisle Area Chamber and the West Shore Chambers of Commerce will be hosting their day-long conference geared towards professional women, Business Women's Forum, and it's back for its 31st year! Presented by WellSpan Health, this event is devoted to creating opportunities for women to network and create different leadership skills in a comforting environment.

This year the will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at Messiah University and will feature Kristal Markle-Temons, Founder of Bossy Girl Leadership as our Keynote Speaker, breakout sessions, the Business Woman of the Year Award, vendors, and a networking luncheon.

BEFORE REGISTERING, please see breakout session options HERE so you can select during registration the ones you desire to attend. Members of the West Shore Chamber will receive the Member Rate when registering for BWF through the Carlisle Chamber Website. Safe Optimal Spaces is presenting “HOME SAFETY for the aging or differently-abled populations: RED FLAGS” to the community at the Camp Hill Fredricksen Library on May 15^th from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Community Room.

This presentation will educate the community on certain red flags to look out for in a home or with a loved one that could indicate that it’s time to make some home safety changes. These changes can be as simple as the addition of a shower chair or as complicated as installing an elevator! Recommendations and referrals for these red flags are discussed based on maximizing safety, independence, and peace of mind. Come join us for an educational session provided by Safe Optimal Spaces followed by an open discussion about what community members are experiencing as they age or live with a disability.
