Social Entrepreneurship: How to Generate Income While Maintaining Charitable Status (Webinar) with Laura Solomon, Esq., Laura N. Solomon Esq, & Associates Learn Critical Legal and Tax Planning Considerations to Protect Your Venture and Your 501(c)(3) Status In these tough economic times, increasing numbers of charities are starting social ventures to generate revenue to support their missions. Social entrepreneurship is an excellent way to diversify revenue sources and decrease reliance on contributions, but there are serious potential risks. A social enterprise that is unrelated to your organization's charitable purpose will generate unrelated business taxable income and could jeopardize its tax-exempt status.
