Event Description: "Song, Verse, and Worse" will show how the Victorians injected a bit of light-hearted fun into a society bound by whalebone, elaborate decoration and many social rules. This amusing program consists of literary and musical entertainment and features guest vocalist Lucy Henry, who will perform her own whimsical treatment of numberous Victorian songs. Ms. Henry will be joined by local talent who whil share stories, philosophy and poetry that were "all the rage" during the Victorian Era. Cost includes desserts & refreshments. Advance tickets are $10 until September 21st, afterword $12.00.

Event will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church (E. Simpsoon at 203 S. Filbert Street) in Mechanicsburg.
