Event Description: The 2011 Walk for Life will be held on Saturday, September 24th. This year the event will be held at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Park in Mechanicsburg and at the Middlesex Park Pavilion in Carlisle. Please note, this is a new location in Carlisle! The Walk starts at 9:00 a.m. If you haven't already received a sponsor form in the mail, please call our office and we'll have one sent right out. Many churches also have the forms available, so please check with your church liaison. An easy and safe way to raise funds on-line is to use the FirstGiving website. Log onto www.firstgiving.com/capchelp/walk-for-life and click on the blue "JOIN NOW" button to personalize a page that can be posted to your Facebook or Twitter account, or use it to send e-mails to your contacts.
