The West Shore Chamber of Commerce and sponsor Metro Bank are pleased to announce the recipient of the 2012 Business Achievement Award will be Mark Butler, President & CEO of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. 

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is the Mid-Atlantic’s largest retailer of closeout, surplus, and salvage merchandise.  Mr. Butler and his mentor, Mort Bernstein, joined forces in April 1977 and started Ollie’s Bargain Outlet on July 29th, 1982.  Mr. Butler’s entire retail career has been spent building one of the most exciting retail companies in America.  Since being named president of Ollie's in 2003, the company has grown from 27 to 111 stores operating in 12 states with nearly 2,500 employees.

Business Achievement Award Luncheon attendees will have an opportunity to enjoy a business-to-business networking lunch and hear remarks from this business leader. The cost to attend is $35/member and $45/non-members.  Tables of eight are available for a discounted rate of $250.  The cancellation with refund deadline is Friday, February 17.
