Event Description: On September 14, 2012, the Army Heritage Center Foundation will be hosting its Fifth Annual Membership Dinner and Silent Auction. The dinner serves as a way of recognizing and thanking the Foundation's and the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center's supporters and those who support our Soldiers and their families. This year, we are proud to be honoring Former Pennsylvania Governor and Homeland Security Director Thomas Ridge for his support in the development of the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center. The Foundation will also be recognizing CSM Jeffrey Mellinger, USA Ret., the last Vietnam era "draftee" to retire from active service, and the Army Arlington Ladies, who attend every Solder's funeral ceremony that is held at Arlington National Cemetery.
