Event Description: The event will host 40 classic cars on display as well as an awards show for participants. ZASI employees will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs, as well as provide refreshments for attendees. Families can enjoy playing in a moon bounce house, taking hayrides and guided tours throughout the Zimmerman’s facility. Along with the car show, Upper Allen Police and Fire Department will be hosting a variety of family activities. Volunteers from both departments will be conducting child fire safety drills as well as child car seat safety checks. At 12:00 p.m., volunteer fire firefighters will reenact a mock texting while driving accident. “We wanted to take our annual car show and turn it into a day for the local community that has been there for Zimmerman’s since 1958,” said Jeremy Walter, the Marketing Director at Zimmerman’s Automotive.
