More critical than ever in this time, the Standards for Excellence® program provides resources and a blueprint to address the needs of nonprofit organizations in today's environment. Why Worry About Ethics and Accountability? All nonprofits depend upon the public and the public trust. How Can the Standards for Excellence Help? With the Standards for Excellence program, your organization can improve accountability, efficiency and transparency to demonstrate your organization’s commitment to the highest ethical standards. What Resources Does the Standards for Excellence Program Provide? The Standards provide education, technical support and blueprints to put sustainable best practices in place in your organization. What Will I Learn in This Workshop? The session will cover: •The basics of the Standards for Excellence® •A self-assessment checklist to identify areas of excellence and opportunities for growth and improvement •Information about how you can use the Standards to make improvements in your organization This seminar is geared toward Executive Directors, Board Members, and Nonprofit Administrators desiring to implement best practices in nonprofit operations. Fees: $15 PANO Members; $25 Nonmembers Presenter: Tish Mogan, Standards for Excellence Officer, PANO Presented by the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO), in partnership with the Nonprofit Resource Network at Millersville University, United Way of Lancaster County and the Lancaster County Community Foundation.
