Event Description: Sept. 18th - "Campaign" Day 1 & Part of Day 2 This presentation covers the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg that occurred on July 1, 1863 - From the early skirmishing near the village followed by the beginning events of the second day. No textbook or preparation is required. This is the first of 2 lectures by Stephen A. Runkle. The second lecture will be held on September 25th at noon. This "Mini History Course: takes place at the Museum Passenger Station. It is open to the public. Refreshments are provided. Museum members & Children 12 & under, Free; Non-members, $4.00 per session. For Further information call the Museum Office, (717)697-6088.
