Event Description: Join re-enactor, Myra Reichart of "Place Through Time - Living History, Inc." as she discusses how American - both northern & southern - celebrate Christmas during the Civil War. Many of the customs and observances, some of which we cherish to this day, grew to be widely accepted during this terrible time of struggle. But more than anything, we ought to remember the privations and heartaches of the soldiers far from home and their loved ones. This event will take place at the Museum Passenger Station. It is open to the public. Refreshments served. Museum members, children 12 & under, free; Non-members, $4.00. For further information, please call Museum office, 717-697-6088.
